Glastonbury Pilgrim Reception Centre has found a new home in the town centre.

The centre has moved to 48 High Street, opposite the Post Office by the zebra crossing, and will officially open this Saturday at 11am.

Although the formal opening is still to come, the centre has already quietly opened its doors after attracting interest from passers-by.

Visitors are being invited to see the new sanctuary space, sit with the Unity Candle, have a cup of tea in the welcome area and speak with volunteers.

The centre will be open every day from 10am to 5pm.

Organisers say the move is "only the beginning", with plans for meditations, walks, talks, pilgrimages and other activities to follow.

They said they are looking forward to welcoming people into the new High Street space.

May I respectfully suggest that the PRC re-site their A board so it is not obstructing the pavement at the zebra crossing (see photo).
