Learn about the rebels who fought at the Battle of Sedgemoor in 1685 and suffered the horrible consequences of their defeat. Men of Glastonbury followed the Duke of Monmouth and were condemned to die by the Bloody Assizes. Others would have been injured and given into the care of the barber-surgeon. It was a grim time indeed.
