Glastonbury charity car wash returns to Tesco

Glastonbury drivers are being urged to roll up for a charity car wash at Tesco car park later this month.
The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm, with money going to The Fire Fighters Charity.
Last year's event raised £1,002.50, with organisers thanking the local community for turning out in force.
This year, they are hoping for another strong show of support from people across Glastonbury and the surrounding villages.
A suggested donation of £5 per car has been set.
The event will give residents a chance to get their cars cleaned while backing a charity that supports serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.
Organisers said people can come down, say hello and help make this year's total even bigger.
Residents are also being asked to share the event with friends and family.
