Night at the Abbey 2025: everything you need to know before the big day

The countdown is on for Night at the Abbey 2025 — and organisers have released the essential guide for visitors heading to Glastonbury Abbey on Saturday 13 September.
Timings and entry
- Doors open: 3pm
- Music starts: 3.15pm
- Last entry: 7pm
- Last re-entry (with wristband): 8pm
- Music ends: 10.45pm
- Event closes: 11pm
Entry is through the main abbey gates on Magdalene Street. Anyone arriving with an eTicket will need to swap it for a wristband at the gate. Wristbands allow re-entry until 8pm — after that, anyone leaving will not be allowed back in.
Tickets are £40 for adults and £30 for children. If the event hasn't sold out, they will be available to buy on the door.
The line-up
This year's Dan's Stage will feature headliners Republica (8.05pm) and Alabama 3 (9.35pm), with sets from Eve Appleton Band, Bless., Baskery and Nick Parker & The False Alarms earlier in the evening.
The King Arthur Stage, set among the ruins, will host Stereo MC's (7.15pm) and The Orb (9pm) alongside DJ sets and live performances.
Brand new for 2025, The Nook in the woodland area will showcase DJs including Grant Plant, The Shaker, Short & Sweet and D'Oli Disco.
Food, drink and facilities
Festival-goers will be spoilt for choice, with food stalls ranging from burgers and wraps to Greek dishes, vegan snacks, brownies and locally roasted coffee. The Abbey Yard Café and Garden Café will also be open throughout.
The abbey bar will serve lager, cider, local ales, wine and cocktails, and will continue its £1 reusable cup scheme to cut waste. Visitors can bring their own food and drink, but alcohol can only be brought in on first arrival and only in small amounts for personal use.
Dogs are welcome on site, though organisers warn there will be large crowds and loud music. Families are reminded that children must be accompanied at all times.
Travel and parking
Car parking is available at several town car parks, which are free after 6pm. Organisers ask visitors not to park in residential streets to avoid blocking access for residents and emergency services.
Organisers' advice
Visitors are urged to dress for the outdoors, bring a camp chair if needed, and wear sensible shoes as the abbey grounds are uneven. Stewards and security will be on hand throughout the site, and the medical point will be based in the museum.
The event will close at 11pm sharp, with organisers asking attendees to leave quietly and respect neighbours.
