The Quest for Elen of the Ways. 

Caroline will be discussing her 40 + year quest to find the deer goddess, an ancestral Mother of us all. We'll look at who she is and where we can find her.

Caroline Wise has contributed to several books on goddesses, and on women magical pioneers, such as Florence Farr and on the artist Austin Osman Spare. She has compiled the book Finding Elen on forgotten goddesses associated with deer, and co-edited The Secret Lore of London with John Matthews. 

Caroline gives talks on these subjects in the UK, USA, Germany and Italy. Caroline organised the first big goddess conferences in London through the 1990s, and also the Wildwood events that sought to find links between modern paganism and folklore. With Goddess Enchantments with Carrie Kirkpatrick, she leads courses teaching women to become oracular priestesses of the goddesses in non-hierarchical groups.
