Street-based Millfield School has received 21 selections so far for this year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The 23rd Commonwealth Games will take place from Thursday, 23 July, to Sunday, 2 August 2026, bringing together athletes from across the Commonwealth. Millfield's selections currently include eight current students, 10 Old Millfieldians, two former Performance Swimming Squad members and one member of staff.

All eight current students selected will compete in swimming events. Upper Sixth students Filip Nowacki and Tilly Collymore will represent Jersey and Grenada respectively, while Sophie Davies and Megs Higgs will compete for Wales.

Riley Watson and Emily Hughes have been selected for the Cayman Islands and Northern Ireland. Ethan Stubbs-Green will make his Commonwealth Games debut for Antigua, while 14-year-old Katie Green, the youngest current Millfield student selected so far, will represent Gibraltar.

The students will be joined at the Games by Millfield Head of Swimming Keiron Piper, who has been selected as a coach for Jersey. Further selections are expected to be announced before the Games begin.

A further 10 Old Millfieldians and two former Performance Swimming Squad members have also been selected to represent their nations this summer. Of those, 10 will compete in swimming, one in long jump and one in track cycling.

Olympic champion James Guy MBE will be joined by Emily Richards in the Swim England team. Olympic gold medallists Matt Richards and Kieran Bird, who won gold in 2024, will swim for Wales.

Anna Morgan and Evan Jones will represent Scotland, while Emma Harvey will compete for Bermuda. Tatiana Tostevin has been selected for Guernsey, and siblings Jade and Mia Phiri will represent Zambia.

In cycling, Old Millfieldian Lauren Bell will compete for Scotland, giving her the chance to race on home soil in Glasgow. Old Millfieldian Jazmin Sawyers will compete for Team England in the long jump, making it her fourth successive Commonwealth Games.

Millfield had 24 athletes and coaches involved at the last Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. They won three gold medals, five silvers and six bronzes between them.
