Street residents will have the chance to question decision-makers and raise local concerns at the Annual Village Meeting later this month.

Street Parish Council has confirmed the meeting will take place on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, from 6.30pm at Crispin Hall, bringing together councillors and members of the public under one roof.

The yearly meeting is open to all electors in the parish and provides a formal opportunity for residents to speak directly to their council about issues affecting Street and the wider Somerset area.

In material promoting the event, the parish council is urging residents to attend, describing it as a chance to "have your say" and learn more about current projects and community initiatives.

The Annual Village Meeting is a statutory requirement for parish councils and is separate from regular council meetings. It is designed specifically to give residents a voice on local matters.
