Street Thursday Market is launching a new initiative to support local community groups.

Market team managers Matt Whiting and Craig Jackson are making a free gazebo available on the third Thursday of each month for groups in the Street area.

The gazebo will be provided and put up by market staff.

Groups will be able to use the stall to promote their organisation, share information and raise much-needed funds.

Matt and Craig said the idea would give local organisations more visibility while helping Street residents find out more about what is happening in their area.

One group is already lined up for July.

Other groups interested in taking part are being encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible.

They can contact [email protected] or [email protected].
