This Saturday and Sunday Clarks Village rolls out the red carpet for dogs at its return of the Pawsome Pooch event.

Families and their furry friends are invited for a weekend packed with canine celebrations.

Free activities include pet photo shoots, pooch pampering, dazzling dog trick shows, have‑a‑go agility sessions, live paw‑trait illustrations, and a brand new treat pick 'n' mix for 2025. The highlight is the hunt for Clarks Village's next CEO ‒ Canine Executive Officer.

Ten adorable pups from photo shoots will be shortlisted to face a public vote. The winner will be crowned leader of all things dog at the outlet and receive a prize package worth £500, including shopping vouchers.

Last year's winner, Dudley the three‑legged Hungarian Vizsla, will hand over the crown. Every dog taking part in a photo shoot gets a free digital portrait. Pre‑bookable shoots are sold out, but there are walk‑up snap sessions with a roaming photographer available on the day.

Clarks Village, with its landscaped gardens, wide paved walkways and outdoor shopping space, offers plenty of room for pups. Most brands and selected eateries also welcome dogs. Event runs Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.
