Electric vehicle drivers visiting Clarks Village in Street can now use eight new charging points installed at the outlet centre.

The chargers are in Car Park Two, near the outlet entrance. Four are 22kW AC chargers and four are 50kW DC rapid chargers. They replace the two 7kW chargers previously available there.

The new units are part of a partnership between charging company RAW Charging and Clarks Village owner Landsec. The 20-year deal is intended to deliver 1,000 charging bays across 28 Landsec sites.

RAW's network can be accessed through the Zapmap app or a Zapmap charging card. Zapmap
