Active Travel Forum- To campaign for better routes

Monday 2nd February 7-9 pm Avalon Community Centre, Kings Street.

If you travel lightly; Cycle, scooter, walk, use mobility aids or are horse drawn and have something to say about the provisions for us in Glastonbury and surrounding area, please come to the meeting.

We can make a difference, Active Travel Forums in Brigwater and Taunton have, we just need to come together.

We will be discussing what we want to see happen. Recap on what we have already done; such as the clean up of the cycle path next to the Skate Park clear up last Sunday. This month closures and rerouting of cycle paths will be going on the aganda. We will also be getting a list of wants together to go to another travel forum at the end of the month.

We had the last meeting at Bride's Yard and will be moving it next month to another area in Glastonbury if you can not make it to this one.

Any questions please be in touch, we also have a facebook page set up; Active Travel Forum. This is so you can share photos of overgrown foot paths, bad signage, pot holes, disappearing cycle paths, dodgy kerbs. Plus any active travel schemes you have heard of. Please join in and share with anyone you think would be interested in this.
