St Dunstan's Bake Off

The St Dunstan's Bake Off was another triumph this year.

All students worked exceptionally well and should be incredibly proud of themselves. The winning dish was a cheese and onion quiche made by Jesse in year 7. Joint second place went to Coral in year 7 for her breakfast pie, and Louise in year 11 for her turkey and leek pie.

The school is already looking ahead to 2020 and seeing how students progress with their cooking skills ready for next year's Bake Off!

Jos Buttler

Former Glastonbury player Jos Buttler was involved in the winning run-out that secured the 2019 Cricket World Cup for England in dramatic fashion.

Buttler, who played for Glastonbury from 2006 for three years and who grew up in Wedmore, ran out Martin Guptill in the final ball of the final's super over after England and New Zealand tied on scores after 50 overs.
