There are some fabulous events taking place in Glastonbury this weekend, including some brilliant free activities! You can explore Glastonbury Abbey and try your hand at axe throwing, try riding an e-bike, and have a go at lawn bowls, all for free.

Glastonbury Abbey Summer Open Day

On Saturday, visitors will get nine hours to enjoy the stunning ruins and grounds from noon until 9pm, with last entry at 8.45pm.

As well as exploring the abbey ruins and 36-acre grounds, visitors will be able to try their hand at a range of activities, including axe throwing, and enjoy live music.

Herbal Brue presents: A Community Celeidh

With live music from The O'Caylians- Lela Mai caller and on fiddle, Rossi Rhythm on guitar and Will-i-ohm on drums!

There will be herbal mocktails plus teas and hot chocolate available. Plus delicious snacks and treats.

Free e-bike taster sessions

Have a go on an e-bike at this taster session. Whether you're interested in finding a new hobby or considering getting an e-bike as a sustainable transport solution, if you're intrigued but have never had go, now is your chance.
