The King Arthur is basically the beating heart of Glastonbury's music scene, and this August, they're turning the dial up to 11 with a killer lineup of artists and shows.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to a roster filled with diverse performances this month, kicking off with the Will Cartwright FUNK SOUL collective on the 3rd. The melodic journey continues on the 4th with Blackberry Wood, followed by an electrifying performance by Igneous Fig on the 5th. The beat won't stop on the 5th as from 1pm to 7pm, the pub's garden will be resonating with the tunes of the Vinylgeddon Garden Session. The music-filled weekend concludes with a soulful Sunday Session by Cobalt Blue on the 6th.

Keep your calendar open for the 10th for Rohan Black, and the vinyl will keep spinning on the 11th with DJ GloWorm. On the 12th, prepare for a night of non-stop house music with DJ Martin Solo, and enjoy a soothing Sunday Session by Riki Buckingham on the 13th.

Mid-month, on the 16th, don't miss out on the internationally acclaimed trio, The Trouble Notes. John De Revelator takes to the stage on the 17th and the 18th promises an explosive night with Kiloton and support from Rizts, while the 19th will host a special edition of Down the Arthur with DJ Chas23 and CUB.

Cameron Scott's Sunday Session on the 20th is set to provide a delightful conclusion to this music-packed week. Restless Youth will take the stage on the 24th as we enter the last week of the month. A thrilling night awaits on the 25th as Mi Vida Loca and DJ Forgive&Forget captivate the crowd.

The last weekend of the month, the 26th and 27th, promises an all-day event titled "Let it Flow". Closing out the month on a high note, September Son will perform on the 31st.

The King Arthur also hosts an Open Mic Night every Wednesday, hosted by Rich, except for the 16th of this month.

Additionally, during the school holidays, Kidz Rave takes over every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.

Finally, don't forget to save the date for the Comedy Night hosted by Becca, which takes place on the last Monday of every month.

So there you have it. An August packed with tunes at The King Arthur. Whether you're a townie or just dropping by, this is the spot to be. Let's make some unforgettable musical memories this summer!
