Clarks Village in Street recorded a strong Golden Quarter at the end of 2025, with both footfall and sales rising compared with the same period in 2024.

The outlet reported footfall up 5.7% year-on-year and sales up 4.7%, significantly ahead of national retail benchmarks, where footfall and sales declined over the festive period. Black Friday week delivered record sales, up 8.3% on the previous year, with footfall up 3.9%. On Christmas Eve, footfall rose 4% and sales climbed 14%. Boxing Day also saw gains, with a 3% increase in footfall and a 19% rise in sales.

The gifts, toys and cards category led performance with a 10.9% year-on-year sales increase, followed by clothing at 5.1%. Contributing factors included new stores such as The Gift Company, The Handmade Boutique, Pro:Direct, Scamp & Dude, Castore and Hackett.

Clarks Village also reported a 21% sales boost at its festive ice rink, open from November to January. This season introduced themed evenings and launched with the World's Biggest Elf Skate, a free family event.

In December, the centre renamed a pedestrian avenue 'Lando Lane' to honour Somerset Formula 1 champion Lando Norris, complete with themed signage and orange ride-on cars for children.

Marc Myers, Retail Operations Director at Clarks Village, said: "Clarks Village has always been at the forefront of innovation and strives to exceed guest expectations. The outlet provides a vibrant shopping environment with an unrivalled combination of top brands and engaging experiences… even delivering record-breaking performances."
