A free bike repair and marking event is coming to Street this month — offering local people a chance to have their bicycles registered on the national bike database and checked over.
Between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Wednesday 29 October 2025, you can take your cycle to the Crispin Community Centre, 4 Leigh Road, Street, for free marking by the local beat team. The event runs alongside a repair workshop at the centre.
The marking service means bikes will be entered on the national bike register, helping police identify and recover stolen cycles more easily. Officers and volunteers will also be on hand to offer security advice and minor repairs.
The beat team says this is part of ongoing efforts to reduce bike theft and boost community safety.
