Residents in Street and Glastonbury celebrated the coronation of King Charles III by getting together organising street parties and decorating their homes with flags and bunting.

The communities came together to mark the historic event, with many donning fancy dress and raising a toast to the new king.

Here's just a few of the events that haven taken place so far - from the big lunch in Glastonbury High Street to a Coronation Fun day at the Victoria Club in Street.

Many residents expressed their excitement and pride in witnessing the coronation of a new monarch, with some describing it as a once-in-a-lifetime event.

The Tor was even lit up in red, white and blue to mark the occasion.

The celebrations were a reminder of the enduring spirit of community and togetherness that exists across the area.
