If you're a Magic: The Gathering player, they're hosting a draft night on May 10th at 6pm. With only 14 spots available at £16, these seats are expected to fill up fast. Each player will receive three packs to draft with and prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. First place will receive three set boosters from March of the Machines, second place will receive two draft boosters, and third place will receive one draft booster.

Here's a rundown of the exciting events happening this weekend, as we gear up for the King's Coronation.

On Friday, 5th May, watch the pupils of St John's Infant School in Glastonbury as they do a Royal Procession to the Town Hall at 9:30am. Give them a wave as they go past!

On Saturday, 6th May, enjoy the Cry for Coronation Day of King Charles III with the Town Crier, David Greenway, on Magdalene Street and the High Street at various times between 9 am-11:15 am.

On Sunday, 7th May, head over to St John's Church in Glastonbury at 11 am for the celebration service, followed by the Coronation Big Lunch on the High Street. Join the nationwide act of celebration and friendship by bringing a packed lunch or food to share. This event is supported by the Radstock Co-operative Society.

Meanwhile, in Street, The Victoria Club is hosting an all-day event, running from 12pm until late on Sunday, and it's open to all. The day will be filled with fresh food, live music, entertainment, games, competitions and your favourite drinks from the bar. The event also offers a field where you and your entourage can bring a picnic blanket, relax and enjoy the sunshine while the festivities go on. Get ready to bust a few moves, too - DJ Bernie Lock and local band, Absolute Zero, will be among those playing live.

Also on Sunday, there's a BBQ and fun day at Street Football Club from 12-5pm. Bring your furry friends along to the fun dog show or enjoy some face painting while you indulge in some delicious ice cream. There will also be a coconut shy and inflatable slide for those who are looking for something a little more adventurous. For those who love a bit of competition, there will be a football tournament with the winning team receiving a special prize. The fete will also feature a speed radar and wacky races, and circus skills sessions for those who want to show off their abilities.Later in the evening, live music from Alex Priddice will get the party started, followed by a silent disco that will keep the festivities going until late.

Admission to the fete is free, and tickets for the silent disco are just £5 per person. U18s get in first come first served, and tickets will be available to buy from 1 pm on the day.

Clarks Village is also hosting a weekend of festivities from May 6th to May 7th. It willl be adorned with floral decorative selfie spots, food stalls, garden games, competitions, and exclusive coronation memorabilia – all at discounted outlet prices. Sit back and relax while listening to live music from Southwest busker Conor Smith or enjoy some of the available activities, such as bean bag toss, giant Connect4, table football, and table tennis.

Children can participate in a 'colour the crown' competition for a chance to win a limited-edition Emma Bridgewater King Charles III decorated mug, while you'll also get the chance to win an Emma Bridgewater Coronation Teapot on Clarks Village's social media channels.

Finally, The Grange lights will also transform to red, white, and blue, marking the historic occasion in style.

On Monday, 8th May, enjoy free entry to Glastonbury Abbey from 10 am to 6 pm, including a commemoration of Dunstan's crowning of Edgar as King of England in 973CE. Dress up for a Royal 'May Kings and Queens' Pageant and enjoy Market stalls, food, and music including Glastonbury Brass.

Away from the Coronation, the Megalithomania Conference 2023 returns to the Town Hall of Glastonbury (and online via Live-Stream) on May 6-7. This ultimate conference on the megalithic arts and sciences features a stunning lineup of speakers at the cutting edge of ancient mysteries and archaeology.

Lastly, don't miss out on psychedelic shenanigans at the Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury on Saturday, 6th May, starting at 8 pm with SpiralS. Join Sabretooth, Cyberg, Smi-Fi, and Boom Shiva Didge for a night of Progressive Psy, Psychedelic Acid Techno Trance, and Psy-Trance. Entry fee is £8 (cash only).

There are also some amazing films and performances at Strode Theatre, Street, including The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Air, Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition, and The Bohemians.
