Glastonbury flag-burning suspect released on bail as police investigate

Police in Glastonbury have made an arrest in connection to an incident over the weekend, where flags put up for the Coronation were reportedly ripped down and set on fire.

The incident, which took place over the weekend, prompted several concerned members of the public to contact the authorities.

A man in his 60s was arrested earlier today on suspicion of criminal damage and arson. The suspect has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The police have thanked members of the public who came forward with information about the incident, and have urged anyone else who may have information to come forward.

The authorities are continuing their investigations and are appealing to the public for any additional information that could aid their inquiry.

This incident has sparked outrage within the community, with many expressing their disgust at the destruction of the flags.

The flags were put up in celebration of the Coronation, and their destruction is seen by many as a disrespectful act.
