Planning application submitted to build new house in West Lydford

Plans have been submitted to Mendip District Council to build a new house in West Lydford.

The planning application for the erection of a single storey dwelling with associated access and parking on land east of Squires, Mardi's Lane, West Lydford, has been submitted by Mrs S Buxton.

The proposed development comprises a detached, single-storey, three-bedroom dwelling and the formation of a vehicular access on to Mardi's Lane.

Other planning applications in the Street area that have been submitted this week to Mendip District Council include:

Erection of shed for domestic and working from home related activities at 38 Glaston Road, Street, has been applied for by Mr Daniel Kempf.

Approval of details reserved by conditions 3 (Materials), 4 (Estate Roads), 6 (Soft Landscaping), 7 (Provision and Storage of Recycling and Waste Containers), 9 (Boundary Details) and 11 (Drainage) on planning consent 2018/2722/REM on land west of Date Palms Ltd, Ham Street, Baltonsborough, is wanted by Mr Thorner.

One planning application in the Street area has been decided by Mendip District Council this week:

Conversion of existing garage to studio and replacement of garage doors at Heron House, 2 The Rushes, Meare, by Mr Ben Costigan has been approved.
