A new restaurant is set to open on Street High Street, bringing a fresh dining experience to the village.

A new Indian restaurant, Table 9, is set to open in early February in Street, taking over the former Wessex Jewellers premises at 135 High Street.

The restaurant will offer a modern take on Indian cuisine, combining authentic flavours with global influences. The menu promises a creative twist on classic dishes while staying true to traditional recipes.

While no planning documents have been publicly linked to the project, preparations are already underway to transform the site into a dining venue. Table 9 is expected to bring a fresh addition to Street's food scene, blending bold new ideas with familiar favourites.
