Glastonbury Tor Challenge: Duo embark on epic climb for Kenyan Charity
In an awe-inspiring show of determination, William and Dylan are set to scale Glastonbury Tor an impressive 33 times over three days, all in the name of a charitable cause close to their hearts.
The 12-year-olds are raising funds for St Peter's Life-Line, a grassroots charity making an impact in the small Kenyan community of Kajuki.
St Peter's Life-Line undertakes significant work within Kajuki, operating a feeding programme for local primary schools, running a disability clinic, and campaigning to end Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Additionally, the charity provides sanitary towels for school girls and spearheads a child sponsorship programme to afford children the opportunity to attend school.
The connection between the duo and the charity runs deep.
Both William and Dylan have supported St Peter's Life-Line for several years, owing to the charity's twinning initiative with their primary school.
The boys hope to raise crucial funds and shine a spotlight on the life-changing work St Peter's Life-Line is doing in Kenya.
The pair have already raised over £1,000 through their efforts, and are hoping to raise £3,000 in total. There's still time to sponsor them - they're inviting the community and all who come across their mission to join in supporting St Peter's Life-Line.
Any contribution, no matter the size, can make a real difference to the charity's ability to continue its valuable work in Kajuki.
