A Glastonbury events hub that once supplied gear for the festival is up for sale after two major Somerset firms shut down.
Batmink Distribution and Themes Incorporated have closed following the retirement of their directors. The two companies, based at Beckery, Glastonbury, were behind costumes, sets and sound systems seen at Glastonbury Festival and displays at Clarks Village in Street.
Their sprawling warehouse site — now listed for more than £1.8 million — is on the market after auctions cleared out their stock of props and AV kit.

The listing describes a one-acre freehold site with industrial units, yard space and forecourt parking. The buildings are steel-framed with roller shutters and could be split into smaller lettable units.
A spokesperson for the listing said it offered "excellent frontage onto Beckery" and "various opportunities for an owner-occupier or investor."
The closures mark the end of a 40-year run in the South West's entertainment and events scene.
