By Laura Linham 26th Feb 2026
Two men have been arrested by officers from the Glastonbury and Street Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and patrol units following reports of theft and multiple driving offences in the area.
Police confirmed the arrests were made yesterday after officers worked together to respond swiftly to information from members of the public. The suspects were detained in connection with theft and several alleged driving offences. Police have not released further details about the location of the arrests or the specific offences at this stage.
Officers have thanked the local community for their vigilance, saying quick calls and information from residents played a vital role in allowing them to respond and take action.
Anyone who witnessed anything, has CCTV or dash-cam footage, or holds further information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact police on 101, report online via the police website, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police say investigations are ongoing.
