A new Tommy Hilfiger store will open in Street this week

New Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger stores will open in Clarks Village in Street this week, and planning applications have been submitted to Mendip District Council for their new signs.

The Calvin Klein shop will open on Friday (September 11) in Unit 26, and Tommy Hilfiger will then be open the day afterwards, on Saturday, in Unit 25 - both are situated near to the current Vans and The North Face stores.

Planning applications were submitted this week to Mendip for the siting of an illuminated facia sign and a non-illuminated hanging sign outside of both units.

Planning applications in the Street area that have been decided this week by Mendip District Council include:

Application for approval of details reserved by conditions 3 (external facing materials), 4 (hard and soft landscaping), 7 (surface of vehicle access), 9 part (a) and (b) only (contamination remediation) on planning consent 2017/2413/FUL at 30 Green Lane, Street, by Mr Jonathan Barrett has been approved.

Erection of single storey side extension at 37 Grange Road, Street, by Mr and Mrs Loughlin has been approved.

Demolish existing conservatory and erection of single storey extension at rear of house at 15 Durston Close, Street, by Mr Charlie Stone has been approved.
