Get ready for a summer packed with spectacular science activities, creative crafts and more at the Museum of Somerset, all inspired by the exhibition 'Wow! Amazing Science in Children's Books', open 22 July – 1 Nov 2025.

Drop in to the Museum every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the summer holiday to explore an exciting new scientific topic! Meet the wacky professor, see the live 'Gut Feeling' science show, help create a 3D banquet, handle real-life creepy crawlies, meet Radar the robot dog and more.

Plus, take part in a trail around the museum and win a treat. The trail is £1 each.

The Courtyard Café at the Museum of Somerset will be open serving freshly made local food and drink, from light lunches to afternoon teas and cake.

Entry to the museum is FREE (suggested donation £5).

Activities are £2 each.

The museum is open 10.00 am – 5.00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday

(including Bank Holiday Mondays).
