Aldi is reaching out to suppliers based in Street and Glastonbury, encouraging them to present their products for potential inclusion on the supermarket's shelves.

This invitation is open to suppliers across various product categories, encompassing food, drink, and Specialbuys.

It is part of Aldi's ongoing effort to bolster its investment in local businesses.

Somerset suppliers interested in collaborating with Britain's fourth-largest supermarket can gather more information and express their interest at aldi.co.uk/suppliers/becoming-a-supplier.

In 2023, the supermarket increased its expenditure with British suppliers by £1.3 billion.

Aldi maintains partnerships with approximately 5,000 suppliers throughout the UK. It has been recognised as the leading supermarket for maintaining fair and trustworthy relationships with suppliers, a distinction it has held for 10 consecutive years in the GSCOP annual survey.

Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK's Managing Director of Buying, said: "British suppliers are the lifeblood of our business and without them Aldi wouldn't be where it is today. We will always be at their side. Longstanding relationships with suppliers are at the heart of our success and we are proud to work with so many British suppliers, helping to bolster job opportunities and investment in the UK supply chain."
