Planning applications for works on listed buildings in the Glastonbury area are given approval

Works to two listed buildings in the Glastonbury area are among the planning applications that have been decided this week by Mendip District Council.

Plans relating to Northload Hall in Glastonbury and Lottisham Manor in Lottisham have both been approved by the local authority.

At Northload Hall, 56 Northload Street, Glastonbury, LiveWest Homes Ltd have been granted permission for stone repair, repointing and window lintel replacement to the south east elevation.

At Lottisham Manor, Lottisham Lane, Lottisham, Ms H Hill has had her application approved for details reserved by condition 5 (mortar mix) on Listed Building Consent 2020/2546/LBC.

Other planning applications in the Glastonbury area that have been decided this week by Mendip District Council include:

Conversion and extension of garage to form annexe accommodation including: a home office, day room, storage shed, gym and four-bay garage at West Pennard House, Church Lane, West Pennard, by Mr and Mrs J Carter has been approved.

Application for a proposed lawful development certificate for erection of single storey extension to replace conservatory at 11 Manor House Road, Glastonbury, by Mr and Mrs Jackson has been approved.
