The Company

My client design and manufacture automation for product retrieval and storage as well as on site resident maintenance and service for the equipment. They have been working in the UK for over 20 years and the resident business has a turnover of £100 million. This site was my clients first in the UK 12 years ago and with ever growing demand. With the ever growing demand the company are constantly investing in the site to provide and evolve with the latest technology. My client are looking for a resident Maintenance Supervisor to join the team

The Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be:

  • Be responsible for a team of 2 engineers on a shift
  • Looking after the automation on site day to day
  • Working with the SSoW
  • Meetings with seniors and to plan the day for your engineers
  • Appraisals, Sick and hiring for your team

The Candidate

In a Maintenance Supervisor I am looking for:

  • Someone with a recognised engineering qualification
  • An aspiring engineer looking to take their first steps in management or an Supervisor looking for their next steps
  • A strong communicator who will be able to perform under pressure and hit KPIs
  • Be happy walking 6/7 miles a day round the site
