Dr Richard Stone is a lecturer in Early Modern History at the University of Bristol.

His work and research are varied, with topics including Drink and Disorder in Early Modern England and 17th century overseas trade.

He has a particular passion for the history of cider, and in his spare time is one half of award-winning local cidermakers Stones' Cider.

He has won the Somerset Cider Championships, and the Farmhouse Dry and Keeved classes at the British Cider Championships. During this informative online talk he will be discussing the Golden Age of cider.
