Glastonbury's Orchard Vets is inviting the community to join them for a special charity afternoon on Saturday, 14th October, from 13:00 to 16:00.

The event aims to raise funds for The Cinnamon Trust, which assists with walking pets for the elderly who are unable to do so themselves, and Search and Scan Somerset, who work to reunite lost pets with their families.

The afternoon will feature a variety of activities that are fun for all ages. Children can look forward to interactive activities, while adults can take tours of the practice to get an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes. It's an excellent opportunity to meet the team at Orchard Vets and learn about their work in the community.

"We're really excited to welcome everyone to our charity afternoon," said Laraine, Reception at Orchard Vets. "It's a fantastic way to spend your Saturday and it's all for a good cause. Plus, there will be afternoon tea and a raffle to enjoy."

It's a chance to not only have a fun and educational afternoon but also to contribute to vital services that have a direct impact on the community. The Cinnamon Trust provides a crucial service to elderly pet owners who are unable to walk their pets. This offers them peace of mind and ensures their pets are taken care of. Search and Scan Somerset, on the other hand, plays a critical role in ensuring lost pets are scanned and returned to their loving homes as quickly as possible.

For more information, you can contact Orchard Vets at 01458 832972 or visit their website at www.ovg.co.uk.

So mark your calendar and head to Orchard Vets for an afternoon of community spirit and charitable giving, right here in Glastonbury.
