The quiet residential areas of Clockhouse View in Street and its surrounding roads are facing persistent problems with inconsiderate parking, prompting outcry from local residents.

The issue of cars blocking driveways and creating obstructions has escalated, leading to increased calls for enforcement.

The Civil Parking Enforcement Officers spearhead efforts to manage the situation and ensure that parking laws are adhered to. "We are acutely aware of the concerns raised by residents regarding inconsiderate parking in their neighbourhoods," a spokesperson for the Civil Parking Enforcement said. "Our officers are on the ground, ensuring that everyone complies with local parking regulations to help alleviate these issues."

In support of these efforts, local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) officers are also making targeted patrols in the affected areas. Their presence aims to complement the work of the parking enforcement officers by providing additional oversight and assistance.
