A charity car wash at Street fire station has raised £2,093.75 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters shared the total after thanking everyone who came along to have their cars washed during the fundraising event.

The crew said: "A huge thank you everyone who came to have their cars washed at the fire station today."

They added that the event had raised a grand total of £2,093.75 for the firefighters' charity.

The fundraiser brought people to the station across the day, with the community turning out to support the cause in the sunshine.

The Fire Fighters Charity supports both serving and retired fire and rescue service staff, as well as their families.
