Santa Claus is getting ready to visit the streets of Street and Glastonbury — with a little help from the King William Carnival Club.

The club will be escorting Father Christmas on his rounds each evening from 6pm, helping him meet families and spread festive cheer in the build-up to Christmas.

Santa's route will change nightly, with updates posted each morning on the club's Facebook page. The team is urging residents to keep an eye online for the latest information, as plans may change due to weather or other commitments in Santa's busy calendar.

This annual event is a vital fundraiser for the King William Carnival Club, with donations going towards building next year's carnival cart for the Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnivals Association. It also supports club activities including costumes, makeup and props.

The club has been hard at work updating Santa's sleigh to make the experience even more magical for children and families.

While the exact schedule may change at short notice, residents are encouraged to listen out for the Christmas and look out for Santa from 6pm each night.
