Businesses in Street and Glastonbury are being encouraged to participate in the 2025 Somerset Business Awards, which is now officially open for entries.

The prestigious awards, organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, are celebrating 20 years of recognising the best businesses across the county.

The awards were launched at a reception at The Mount Somerset, near Taunton, and this year's event is set to be bigger than ever. Local accountancy firm Albert Goodman continues to support the awards as the main sponsor, a role it has held for 15 years.

Mike Cahill, Partner at Albert Goodman, said: "The Somerset Business Awards provide an amazing opportunity to showcase what makes your business stand out. Entering the awards can raise your profile, engage your staff, and drive growth, whether you're a small start-up or a well-established company."

David Crew, Managing Director of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, added: "Taking part in the awards is a fantastic way to celebrate your achievements, and many past winners have seen direct business growth as a result of their success."

There are 14 categories covering a range of business sizes and sectors, offering companies in Street and Glastonbury the opportunity to gain recognition for their hard work and innovation.

Entries close at midday on November 22, and businesses can apply via the Somerset Business Awards website.
