The communities of Glastonbury and Street are putting on an unforgettable weekend of events. Meanwhile, Glastonbury is buzzing all weekend with the Glastonbury Psych Festival running from Friday, 27th September to Sunday, 29th September at The King Arthur Pub. Expect immersive psychedelic music and a festival vibe that promises to be something truly special.

If you're more into art, the Somerset Art Weeks at the Red Brick Building on Sunday, 29th September offers an exploration of landscape and change through the eyes of talented local artists.

And don't miss the rare Kathakali performance at Croscombe Village Hall, also in Wells. Kathakali is a traditional Indian dance form that's rich in culture and an unmissable experience.

And don't forget - there's just three weeks until the Wells Festival of Literature kicks off on 18th October, tickets are already selling fast, and some events are nearly sold out. Running until 26th October at Cedars Hall, the festival features a stellar lineup of authors, poets, and celebrities, along with special events such as a literary quiz and sessions for local schoolchildren.

Popular sessions are filling up quickly, with sellouts including Susie Dent from TV's Countdown and beloved poet Pam Ayres. There are only a handful of tickets left for Jonathan Dimbleby, human rights lawyer Shami Chakrabarti, and art historian Bendor Grosvenor.
