Somerstock is set to bring the beats to Somerton, offering a family-friendly music festival with a stellar line-up, delicious food, lively bars, and plenty of entertainment for the kids. This year's headline act is the legendary jazz-funk band Shakatak, taking centre stage on Saturday 13th July.

Situated on the outskirts of Somerton, the festival offers on-site parking and camping for those looking to immerse themselves fully in the festival vibe.

Festival kick-off

Gates open at 5pm on Friday 12th July, with an evening packed with handpicked live bands. The fun continues all day Saturday, with gates opening at 12 noon and live music playing non-stop until late. Each day promises a unique atmosphere and unforgettable performances.

Friday night lights

Friday evening's entertainment, running from 6pm to 11pm, features the dance and soul sounds of The Charlie Miller Band as the main act. Joining them will be local favourites Twisted Vinyl, the powerful blues-rock of Florence & The Bare Souls from Bristol, and battle of the bands winner Junebug. Expect a vibrant evening with food stalls and bars to keep you fueled.

Super Saturday

Saturday's musical feast starts at 1pm and goes on until 11:15pm, with Shakatak headlining the day. The line-up includes ten more acts across two outdoor stages and a big top marquee. Look out for performances from Matt Owens (formerly of Noah and the Whale) with the Delusional Vanity Project, Harri Pick, Standalone Empire, Cabarats, Get Loose, That Brit Pop Band, and Grizzly and the Grasshoppers. Fan favourites Classic Rock Revival and The Bare Foot Bandit are back, along with DJ Slighty spinning popular tunes to warm up the crowd before the main event.

Family fun and more

Somerstock isn't just about the music. The festival offers children's activities, retail stalls, a variety of food options, and bars. The silent disco is a highlight, with nine live DJs on Friday night and a special session for kids on Saturday afternoon.
