The Loft in Street has unveiled a packed run of events for the autumn, with tribute performances, a retro party and a pirate-themed Halloween night all coming to the Leigh Road venue.

The programme begins on Thursday, 1 October, when Angie Lang returns to The Loft with her tribute to the Divas.

The evening includes a two-course meal and entertainment for £30 per person, with bookings being taken directly through The Loft at [email protected].

Later in the month, the venue will turn back the clock for a nostalgia night spanning three decades of music.

The Turn Back Time Party takes place on Saturday, 24 October, with music from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

The night is also raising money for Mental Health in Combat Sports, with the party running into the early hours before the clocks go back at the end of British Summer Time.

The event is being billed as a full-on throwback night, with the music accompanied by nostalgic drinks including Hooch, Bacardi Breezers and Diamond White.

Tickets are available through Mark at The Loft or through the event booking link promoted by the venue.

Halloween then gets its own treatment a week later.

On Saturday, 31 October, Half A Shanty will bring its Pirates Halloween Ball to The Loft, with sea shanties, singalong favourites and fancy dress forming the centre of the night.

The local group will perform songs including Drunken Sailor, John Kanaka, Wellerman and Blow the Man Down, with guests encouraged to dress for either the pirate or Halloween theme.

Tickets for the Halloween event are being sold through the booking link advertised by the organisers.

The autumn programme also gives a taste of what is coming in the new year.

On Sunday, 24 January, Harry James returns as Elvis alongside One Night Stand for a fundraising night in aid of Globe Carnival Club.

His previous appearance at The Loft sold out within weeks, and the venue is advising people interested in the January show to book early.

That will be followed on Thursday, 28 January by Glen Leon as Tom Jones.

The evening will feature a selection of Tom Jones hits alongside 1980s classics and includes a two-course dinner and entertainment for £30 per person.

Bookings for that show will again be taken directly through The Loft.

The Loft, at 15 Leigh Road, Street, combines a restaurant, bar and entertainment venue and regularly hosts live music, private events and fundraising nights.
