Disco classics, bottomless bubbles and Gatsby-era glamour are all on the menu at The Loft in Street this June.

The Leigh Road venue has unveiled two major events for the month — kicking off with its monthly party night before switching gears for a jazz-soaked Great Gatsby brunch later in June.

First up is the venue's open party night on Saturday, 6 June, with doors open from 9.30 pm.

The Loft says partygoers can expect a full night of "favourite tunes and dance floor fillers", with guests welcome to book dinner beforehand or simply turn up for the late-night soundtrack.

Then on Sunday, 14 June, the venue leans fully into roaring twenties style with its Great Gatsby Bottomless Brunch.

Live entertainment comes from singer Shalana, whose set promises modern songs reworked in swing, jazz and Motown style.

The brunch begins at 12.30 pm, with the first live set starting at 1 pm before food is served at 1.45 pm.

A second live music set follows at 2.15 pm, while bottomless bubbles run until 3 pm ahead of the bar closing at 3.30 pm.

Tickets are priced at £40 per person for the bottomless brunch option, which includes 90 minutes of bottomless bubbles, or £30 per person for the non-bottomless package.

The Loft has become a regular fixture on the local nightlife scene, hosting themed evenings, live music and weekend entertainment throughout the year.
