Glastonbury cleaning firm expands after award win
By Laura Linham 21st Aug 2026
A Glastonbury cleaning company is looking to grow its team after a major business award brought a fresh wave of enquiries and bookings.
Sleek Easy says demand has increased significantly since it was named Medium Business of the Year at the 2026 Somerset Business Awards, with its phones now ringing daily as more customers get in touch.
The company is now recruiting for a cleaning specialist role and a holiday let cleaner role to help meet that demand across Somerset.
The Glastonbury-based company is best known for cleaning, biohazard work and property maintenance, but its wider focus is on helping people deal with difficult spaces and help make it safe and usable again.
Sleek Easy has grown rapidly in recent years and was named Medium Business of the Year at the 2026 Somerset Business Awards. The company has also expanded its building and maintenance arm, allowing the team to take on both cleaning and repair work under one roof.
That broader range of services has helped shape the business into more than a conventional cleaning firm, with the team increasingly taking on jobs where specialist cleaning, practical problem-solving and property work overlap.
Now, the immediate focus is on adding more people to the team through its cleaning specialist vacancy and holiday let cleaner vacancy.
Sleek Easy is looking for reliable and hardworking applicants who take pride in delivering a high standard of cleaning. Candidates applying for the cleaning specialist role or holiday let cleaner role must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel across Somerset as part of the job.
The company said: "Since winning the Medium Business of the Year Award, we have seen a significant increase in enquiries and bookings, with our phones ringing daily and demand for our services continuing to grow."
It added that the award had been "a fantastic milestone" for the business and said the priority now was to grow the team while maintaining the standards that had helped it earn the trust of customers.
