Glastonbury Abbey's blockbuster Medieval Fayre has been shortlisted for Tourism Event of the Year at the 2025 Bristol, Bath, Somerset & Gloucestershire Tourism Awards.
The awards night takes place in Bath on 20 November, where the crowd-pulling event will find out whether it's scooped Gold, Silver or Bronze.
This year's fayre was the biggest yet — pulling a record 10,278 visitors across the abbey's 36-acre grounds during the weekend of 26–27 April. The site was packed with jousting, jesters, re-enactments, music and market stalls, with all tickets selling out in advance.
Glastonbury Abbey's Head of Commercial Activity, Brad Lister, said: "We are really pleased to be included in the awards alongside such fine events and visitor attractions from across the region."
The event previously won Gold in 2023 and also earned a nod at the National Outdoor Events Association Awards the same year. The popular weekend is now one of the abbey's flagship fixtures.
The Medieval Fayre will return on 25–26 April 2026. Tickets are on sale now via the abbey's website.
