House prices in Glastonbury have plunged almost 6% in the past year while Street has also seen values dip, new data reveals.

The average home in Glastonbury's BA6 postcode sold for £332,479.20 in the year to July 2025, down from £353,369.90 — a fall of 5.91%.

By contrast, nearby Wells bucked the trend with prices edging up 1.98% to £377,391.70, while Shepton Mallet saw the sharpest local surge of more than 9%.

The figures are based on the latest Land Registry data, which tracks average sale prices across Somerset.
