Glastonbury Abbey adds extra Santa sessions this December

By Laura Linham   5th Dec 2025

Glastonbury Abbey has announced extra opportunities for families to meet Santa this Christmas, with new sessions at Abbey House on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 December 2025.

The additional Santa visits follow the popular Visit Santa weekend at the end of November.

The upcoming sessions include a toddler‑friendly slot for ages 0–4, SEND‑tailored sessions for children with additional needs, and a new "Supper with Santa" evening experience.

In the toddler sessions, children enjoy carols, crafts and a meet‑and‑greet with Santa. SEND sessions offer a gentler, flexible format with storytelling, soft music, and a booked 10‑minute visit with Santa. The "Supper with Santa" includes a buffet‑style meal, festive fun, a gift from Santa, and optional party games.

Abbey House events are ticketed and advance booking is recommended due to limited capacity. Organisers say the sessions are designed to be inclusive, welcoming and low‑pressure — ideal for toddlers, children with additional needs, and families looking for a calmer festive outing.
