Everything we know about the 2025 Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza

The Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza is set to return on Saturday, 9 August 2025, bringing another evening of live music, entertainment, and fireworks to the historic abbey grounds.

This year's event will be headlined by The Script, with special guests to be announced.

When and where is the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza 2025?

  • Date: Saturday, 9 August 2025
  • Time: 4:30pm – 10pm
  • Location: Glastonbury Abbey

The evening will conclude with a fireworks finale, a long-standing tradition of the Extravaganza.

Who is headlining?

This year's headline act is The Script, the chart-topping Irish band known for hits like Hall of Fame, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, and Superheroes. More special guests will be announced closer to the event.

How much are tickets?

  • Adult tickets: £50 (£55 on the gate)
  • Child tickets (ages 5-15): £25 (£30 on the gate)
  • Abbey PLUS member adult tickets: £45 (10% discount for members)

Tickets are now on sale, and all purchased tickets will be posted in July 2025.

Can I camp at the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza?

Yes, overnight camping is available at a nearby campsite at the foot of Glastonbury Tor. The campsite offers a basic setup with toilets, showers, and handwashing facilities, but no electric hook-ups. A shuttle bus will run from the campsite to the abbey on the night of the event.

  • Own small tent (max 4 people): £40
  • Own large tent: £55
  • Own camper van or caravan: £65
  • Pre-erected 2-person tent: £95 (tent only, no bedding)
  • Pre-erected 4-person tent: £140
  • Pre-erected 6-person tent: £175
  • Pre-erected 8-person tent: £225

Camping must be booked online in advance, and spaces are limited. Only ticket holders for the Extravaganza are allowed to camp.

How do I get there?

A Park & Ride service will be available from Clarks Village car park in Street from 3:30pm. However, these buses are not wheelchair-accessible, so alternative arrangements should be made for those requiring accessibility support.

  • Accessible parking is limited and must be arranged in advance.

Due to the fireworks display, no dogs or animals are allowed except for registered assistance dogs.
