Sheep rescued from Rhyne at Kennard Moor drove, Glastonbury

Date: 25.05.2018Time: 15:07Location: Kennard Moor drove, GlastonburyOne fire engine from Glastonbury along with the animal rescue team from Bridgwater were mobilised to reports of a sheep stuck in a water filled rhyne on Kennard Moor Drove. On arrival crews confirmed the sheep was stuck and got to work using level 1 water rescue equipment and manual handling to get the sheep out. Crews gave the sheep oxygen therapy and a while later released the sheep back into the field.
