Police officers have joined residents in Walton to crack down on speeding and improve road safety.

PC Bradley and PCSO Richards recently took part in a Community Speed Watch session in the village, supporting efforts to reduce excessive speed in problem areas.

Speeding is one of the so-called 'fatal five' causes of road traffic collisions, alongside drink and drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt, distracted driving, and careless driving.

A police spokesperson said: "This initiative is crucial in enhancing road safety and reducing speed in targeted areas. Please adhere to speed limits to help reduce collisions in your community."
