Police are urgently seeking witnesses and information in relation to the theft of four vehicles which occurred overnight between Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 November in the Glastonbury and Street area.

The stolen vehicles include a grey Fiat 500 taken from King Street in Glastonbury, two blue Ford Fiestas, one from Green Lane Avenue and the other from Goss Drive in Street, and a silver Ford EcoSport from Middle Brooks.

Officers have conducted extensive house-to-house enquiries, and alerts have been issued via Neighbourhood Watch networks.

Initial investigations suggest that the thieves managed to acquire all four vehicles without the use of keys. In light of this, police advise residents to store car keys securely, preferably in a metal container, and to consider installing tracking devices in their vehicles.

The community is urged to be vigilant and to promptly report any unusual or suspicious activities around their neighbours' properties. In cases where a crime is believed to be in progress, the public should dial 999, while non-urgent suspicious activities can be reported by calling 101.

Witnesses, especially those with dashcam footage, who observed suspicious behaviour in the aforementioned areas during the time of the thefts, are encouraged to contact the police. Reports can be made by calling 101 with the reference 5223285604, or through the Avon and Somerset Police website at www.avonandsomerset.police.uk.

For those wishing to provide information anonymously, contact can be made with the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via their website at https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information.
