Are you a resident of Glastonbury who has watched the town evolve under the influence of its legendary festival? If so, a Plymouth University student wants to hear from you.

For her dissertation, Hannah Hudson, an undergraduate Geography student, is delving into the intricate relationship between the Glastonbury Festival and the identity of Glastonbury Town. She aims to understand how the festival, a global music and cultural event, has influenced local experiences, perceptions, and opinions about the town itself.

Hudson is currently running a 5-10 minute online questionnaire, designed to capture the essence of Glastonbury Town from the perspective of its residents. The study seeks to assess whether the festival has altered the town's sense of place and identity over the years.

"Any contributions would be greatly appreciated," she said. "Every input counts."

Those interested in participating can fill out the survey through the following link: [Glastonbury Residents Place Identity Questionnaire].

With Glastonbury Festival being an event that has put the town on the international map, the research could shed valuable light on how such a monumental occasion impacts local identity.

Your voice could help piece together the evolving narrative of Glastonbury Town, contributing to an academic discourse that looks at place identity in the context of significant cultural events.
