Nominations are now open for the Glastonbury Community Awards 2025, giving residents the chance to recognise individuals who have made a significant impact on the town. The awards, organised by Glastonbury Town Council, celebrate local volunteers and outstanding contributions to the community, with the prestigious Citizen of the Year title among the honours.

The awards will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, 22 April 2025, bringing together residents to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond for the town. From dedicated volunteers to those who have made a real difference through charity work, public service, or community initiatives, the event will shine a light on the people who help make Glastonbury a better place.

Residents are encouraged to put forward their nominations for Citizen of the Year and other local awards by 28 February 2025. Nominations can be made online via this link.

Glastonbury has a strong tradition of community spirit, and the awards are an opportunity to show appreciation for the individuals who give their time and effort to benefit others. Whether it's someone running a local support group, volunteering with charities, working to improve the environment, or simply going the extra mile for their neighbours, the awards are a way to say thank you.

All nominations will be reviewed by Glastonbury Town Council, with the winners officially announced at the Annual Town Meeting. Residents are encouraged to take part and help recognise the unsung heroes of the town.
