Glastonbury-based construction company - and main sponsor of Glastonbury Nub News - Melhuish & Saunders received recognition for their work in the community at the Coronation Tea held at the Shepton Mallet Hub for Mind in Somerset last week.

The event showcased the rebuilding of a shed that had become unusable and turned it into a functional space for the community.

The Managing Director of Melhuish & Saunders, Darryl Mitchard, was in attendance at the event and had the opportunity to meet with prominent figures such as Lord Lieutenant Mr Mohammed Saddiq and Dr Alexander Priest DL, the Chief Executive of Mind in Somerset. The Coronation Tea was a celebration of the community's efforts in improving mental health and well-being services across Somerset.

Darryl expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to see the positive impact that Melhuish & Saunders' work has had in the community.

He said, "It was a great opportunity to see the shed being used again, and I'm really glad Melhuish & Saunders could help make that happen. It's always rewarding to see the positive impact our work can have in the community."

Melhuish & Saunders is committed to supporting local communities and has previously worked on various projects, including the refurbishment of schools, community centres, and leisure centres. Their work on the shed at the Shepton Mallet Hub for Mind in Somerset is just one example of their dedication to positively impacting the community.

The Coronation Tea was a fantastic opportunity to recognise the efforts of individuals and community organisations dedicated to improving mental health and well-being services.
